Heart’s Desire

My heart desires you
The split it happened too soon
I was young, and couldn’t discern external from truth
Can we get it back
Back to when it was just us two

I get it, I got it
Modest independence, I rock it
Now I want my you back
I can hold me some weight
Now I walk in wisdom fact
People gone be people
And it ain’t no stopping that
So I’ll be the change, and wont expect nothing back

My heart desires you
The split it happened too soon
I was young, and couldn’t discern external from truth
Can we get it back
Back to when it was just us two

My heart desires you
The split it happened too soon
I was young, and couldn’t discern external from truth
Can we get it back
Back to when it was just us two

Judgment hurts
I lived in it everyday
Its hell, its confusion, its self-inflicted pain
To get out, I had to face my own ways
A change for whole gain
Now I’m rooted and rising
Repping my own lane
Still wanting you to love me just the same

My heart desires you
The split it happened too soon
I was young, and couldn’t discern external from truth
Can we get it back
Back to when it was just us two

Screen of space say we together
Always and forever
Sipping Columbian in the morning time
Doing you-know-what in the evening time
And it only gets better
We in our prime
Wu wei add-to-shine

My heart desires you
The split it happened too soon
I was young, and couldn’t discern external from truth
Can we get it back
Back to when it was just us two

My heart desires you
The split it happened too soon
I was young, and couldn’t discern external from truth
Can we get it back
Back to when it was just us two
