Love is Love

Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it

Maybe its the where I am
Oh-Maybe its the who I am
Scene on the lot can feel like a tight clamp
Its hater ones around
And I know if its a scam
All the change makers right now
We gone pass our exam
Clean it UP well, its spick and span
We can survive anything
That’s public relations, man

Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it
Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it

Love is love, I love my man
You got that right, he really my friend
Sleep together – who cares, my spin
We got it good, we a permanent being

Cool-cool
I can do this
The love you give is shield bliss
When some come around with the vampiric leechness
The validation competeness
I can give good shine, and then replenish
God in me is gracious, intentional
So I do it with purpose like the Finnish

Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it
Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it

Love is love, I love my man
You got that right, he really my friend
Sleep together – who cares, my spin
We got it good, we a permanent being

Its funny how some folk do
Prejudices really be they truth
Black ain’t gay too
The entertainment is all on you
Instead of going and getting rude
Distinguish myself
Make me some moves

Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it
Back then, they sang about it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it
Nowadays, we livin’ ’bout it

Love is love, I love my man
You got that right, he really my friend
Sleep together – who cares, my spin
We got it good, we a permanent being
(We got it good, we a permanent being)

Love is love, I love my man
You got that right, he really my friend
Sleep together – who cares, my spin
We got it good, we a permanent being
(We got it good, we a permanent being)
We got it good, we a permanent being
